Countdown to Reno Aloha Festival

Aloha, I hope all of you are as excited as we are for the First Annual Reno Aloha Festival! It's going down this Saturday at Wingfield Park, Reno NV. We have been working tirelessly to bring the Aloha Spirit to Reno NV! We have lot's of surprises for you and a great lineup of entertainment, vendors and workshops.

Head over and check out some of our workshops, at 10am we have Samoan knife Dancing workshop by Tualata Letuli.

at 11am we have Ukulele 101 by by Evan Stern & Julie Holloman of Aria school of arts & music.

at 12:30pm We will have Pāʻele ʻia, a lecture by a traditional Hawaiian tattooist/academic researcher Pa'a 'Alana.

At 2:00pm We will start Hula 101 by Ku'ulei Auwae-McAllister

Then at 3:30pm We will have How to do Hawaiian Genealogy by Pa'a 'Alana

5:00pm-Pau Ukulele Jam.

it has been a long journey this past year and a half, from just an idea that grew into something more, making those links. we couldn't have done it without all of our supporters that share the true Aloha spirit, we thank you and hope to make this festival a great experience for the whole family and to promote the Polynesian culture.

We all share that Aloha Spirit and thrive to bring our Polynesian community together as one, for present and future generations.
